There is enough violence in the world.  And soon, it seems we will all need to carry a gun for self-defence.  Dr. David J Dunn whose writings frequently appear on the Huffington Post, as well as on his own blog,  is also an Adjunct Professor at O’More College of Design in Franklin, TN.  Fr. Chris and David discuss if and how Orthodoxy and guns are compatible.   What an interesting conversation!

But first, we have Presvytera Pat Tsagalakis from Seattle, WA.  Her husband serves the Holy Apostles Orthodox Church in Seattle.  She and Fr. Christ talk about the calling to be grateful, not just because Thanksgiving is around the corner, but because it needs to be expressed all year long.
The Orthodox Christian Network (OCN) is an official agency of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops and offers videos, podcasts, blogs, and music to enhance Orthodox Christian life.  Our flagship program Come Receive the Light (CRTL) is hosted by OCN’s Founding Father and President of Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, Rev. Dr. Christopher T. Metropulos.  CRTL program tackles a variety of topics and perspectives on Orthodox and secular life, featuring interviews with guests from every jurisdiction and all walks of life.

The Orthodox Christian Network invites you to support our mission by giving to our 10 Cents A Day campaign, where 100% of your gift goes to ministry and 0% to overhead.
