Fr. Christopher is a native of Lowell, MA. He received his Master of Divinity from Holy Cross School of Theology in 1991, and was Ordained in 1994 to the Diaconate by Metropolitan Methodios, and to the Priesthood by Metropolitan Maximos. He served as an assistant Priest at Annunciation Church in Lancaster Pennsylvania for five years and has served as Proistamenos of Saints Constantine and Helen Church in Andover, MA for the past seventeen years. In addition to the pastoral and youth ministry of his parish, Fr. Christopher has served as chaplain and Spiritual Father at Camp Nazareth, PA and Boston Metropolis Youth Camps. He also produced a regional cable television program called "Orthodox Life Today," which discusses current issues from an Orthodox Christian perspective. He also serves on the National Board of the Department of Outreach and Evangelism.

About Presvytera Katerina Sitaras Makiej
Presvytera Katerina received her Bachelor’s Degree in Voice and Music Education from The Boston Conservatory and her Master’s in Theological Studies from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology. She performs, composes, and records a variety of vocal music styles and genres from the Musical Theater, Classical, Popular, and Greek Folk Music repertoire. She was in the Miss America Scholarship Pageant representing her state as Miss Pennsylvania and won a Talent Award for her performance of Italian Opera.
Presvytera and her husband, Fr. Christopher Makiej, serve Saints Constantine and Helen Church Greek Orthodox Church in Andover, MA. Katerina is very involved in many ministries at Saints Constantine and Helen. She directs the Senior and Youth Choirs, teaches Greek School where the children perform several musical productions a year, and leads the Women’s Faith and Fellowship Bible Study. Fr. Chris and Katerina are also the proud parents of two sons and their Maltese-Yorkshire Terrier named Rocky.
