Mosul Iraq. The world stands by as the Islamic State launches a modern day genocide against Christians who have called the middle east their home for several generations. And so Iraq joins a fast growing list of ancient Christian countries where the genocide of Christians is unfolding.
“We are witnessing the eradication of Christianity within the ancient home of Christianity”, said Jay Sekulow, Chief Counsel, American Center for Law and Justice.
The Christian Rights & Freedom Institute presents an annual educational and advocacy speaker series culminating in the hosting of a national symposium held in Naples Florida each spring. The program addresses religious liberty, human rights, genocide and many of the current mortal and ethical challenges of our day.
“The regimes of the Middle East are violently anti-Christian. We know from the executions that took place on the Libyan shore”, said Dr. Economou, Professor of Law at Emory University.
The Christian Rights & Freedom Institutes annual educational and advocacy program constitutes one of the best opportunities to learn about current moral and ethical issues, religious liberty, human rights and the terrible persecution that is unfolding against the body of Christ. Participants hear directly from leading experts on the front lines of these issues.
Father Philemon Patitsas, reminds us, “We need to educate ourselves and others about what is happening. We must raise our voices. We must arrest these disturbing trends”.
“Even in the face of the sword, we must find ways to spread the Gospel, and do it now. To teach even the extremists the right way”, said Father Found Saba, Dean of St. George Antiochian Cathedral in Coral Gables, Florida.
This year’s Christian Rights & Freedom program will address issues such as Islamic reform, our first amendment protections under the United States Constitution, the roots of religious liberty, human trafficking and the persecution of Christians and on the challenges opposing the transmittal of Christian faith and virtue within the public education system.
The series features speakers including Jay Sekulow, Chief Counsel for the American Center for Law and Justice, Bob Levy, Chairman of the CATO Institute, Jennifer Marshall, Vice President of the Heritage Foundation, Shibley Telhami, Anwar Sadat Professor for Peace and Development at the University of Maryland and others.
“Our brothers and sisters are facing annihilation in the Middle East. We as fellow believers and and as Americans, will not tolerate genocide in our lifetimes”, said Jay Sekulow.
Learn what you can do to protect America’s first freedom – religious liberty. Stand up for human rights, prevent genocide and raise your voice on the current moral and ethical issues of our day by joining the Christian Rights & Freedom Institute.
