Christian Rights & Freedom Institute – Season Kickoff Unveils Season Offerings, New Web Site


The Christian Rights & Freedom Institute hosted nearly 100 people including 5 area pastors, at its 2016 / 2017 Season Kickoff 5:30 pm Tuesday, October 25. The upcoming series for 2016-17 was unveiled at the St. Katherine Parish Hall, 7100 Airport Road North, Naples, FL.

The evening featured introductions and opening prayer by Fr. Philemon Patitsas, and a detailed summary of the series by Dr. Harry Dimopoulos, including 2 new short promotional videos created by Salt and Light Productions.

In addition, Fr. Philemon introduced the new Christian Rights and Freedom Institute website, which will enhance our visibility and expedite registration for upcoming events.

Mitch Bodnarchuk spoke on activism and how we may participate.  The new trifold brochure explaining our mission, who we are and what we do was distributed at this event.

Fr. Michael Orsi, pastor of the St. Agnes Catholic Church, Naples, gave the benediction.

The cost to attend the entire series is $40 per person or $60 per couple, and includes the Christian Rights and Freedom Institute’s annual symposium on April 1, 2017.  Please note, the cost for non-members is $10 per event, except the annual Symposium which is $30. The event at Temple Shalom on 22 February costs an additional $15 per person at the entrance.  Payments can be conveniently made via credit card or PayPal.

I Too Am a Nazarene PinWe also invite you to purchase a ‘I Too Am a Nazarene’ pin to benefit persecuted Christians and refugees in the Middle East Conflict.  The Arabic letter “N” has been painted by ISIS/ISIL to target the homes of Christians for expulsion and obliteration. The symbol “N” stands for ‘Nazarene’ signifying that its residents are followers of Jesus of Nazareth. Pins are on sale through the St. Katherine Greek Orthodox church’s website.
