Confession vs. Counseling

Confession vs. Counseling

Confession? Counseling?  How do you choose?  We’ve invited Dr. Randa Anderson with the Orthodox Christian Counseling Institute (OCCI) ( to talk about a healthy balance of the two and the unique roles each holds.  Depending on your needs, you may be seeking accountability, forgiveness, or a sounding board. In each case, we are confident that talking about problems really helps!

But first, listen as Fr. Chris speaks with Seraphim Danckaert, OCN’s Director of Development, and Sampson Kasapakis, our Parish Relations Coordinator, about our summer initiatives, including the OCN HERO program. The Orthodox Christian Network has a worldwide reach and serves the canonical Orthodox parishes as a ministry under the Assembly of Bishops of the United States of America.
