Do you know what’s going in the Middle East right now?
Ancient Christian communities are being driven from their homes, churches desecrated and destroyed, hundreds of men, women, and children killed — some even publically executed in brutal fashion for their faith.
In this videocast, we feature two stories: one from Gaza, where the local Greek Orthodox Church is providing a safe haven to Palestinian Muslims in danger from Israeli rockets; and a second story from Iraq, where Islamist extremists pose an existential threat to Christianity’s survival in and around Mosul.
Please be advised: in the story from Iraq, there are very graphic images of the violence being inflicted upon our fellow Christians. But there is truly a crisis in the Middle East right now, and the truth deserves to be told.
