Divine Liturgy on the 12th Sunday of Matthew

This video was recorded live during Divine Liturgy this morning. Holy days occurring this week included the commemoration of St. Phanourios and Friday’s commemoration of the Beheading of St. John the Forerunner. Today also marks the Placing of the Honorable Sash of the Most Holy Theotokos.

From a vile captivity, thou didst deliver the Lord’s priests, and, O godly-minded one, didst break their bonds by divine might; thou didst bravely shame the tyrants’ audacious madness, giving joy unto the Angels, O thou Great Martyr. O Phanurius most glorious, we all revere thee as a true warrior of God
