Explaining Sexuality to Children

“Sex is private and sacred.” There’s something you don’t read every day. Is the church talking about sexuality enough? Listen to a conversation between Fr. Chris and Dr. Philip Mamalakis, Assistant Professor of Pastoral Care, BS, MDiv, PhD at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology. They discuss what the Orthodox church reveals about sexuality, chastity, and love.

But first, we’ve invited Nenad Prelevic, IOCC Regional Representative for the Western Balkans, to tell us about sustainable farming projects that have been established. IOCC is working in cooperation with the Serbian Orthodox Church to assist the families returning to Kosovo. Water supplies, farming, bee keeping and education are all in need of repair and attention. This includes the Visoki Dečani Monastery’s winery, established in the 14th century which has partnered with the University of Maryland in hopes to improve the production and process of farming in Kosovo.

You can help strengthen these communities in non-majority enclaves of Kosovo with a gift to IOCC. To make a gift, please visit IOCC’s website or call toll-free at 1-877-803-IOCC (4622).
