Father and Son Respond to the Paris Attacks

In this video, recently gone viral, a French father and son respond to the Paris Attacks. This USA Today piece has captured the French response, and highlights how they are not afraid in the interview from Le Petit Journal.

We are reminded by His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, in his recent statement against the attacks, of the Apostle Paul’s words: neither death, nor life…nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers…nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39).”

Please remember to continue to pray for peace around the world, and especially for the French people at this time.

The Prayer of Peace.

ABOUT THE ORTHODOX CHRISTIAN NETWORK

The Orthodox Christian Network (OCN) is an official agency of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops. OCN offers videos, podcasts, blogs and music, to enhance Orthodox Christian life.  We also report on news events in the Orthodox Church and produce This Week in Orthodoxy, a weekly news video with stories and issues of interest to Orthodox Christians around the world.

Digital Disciple Scholars Program.  The Orthodox Christian Network has established the Digital Disciple Scholars Program on the campus of Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology.  The purpose is to train our ministry leaders to use multi-media resources to spread the Gospel.  Students promote current issues related to the Orthodox Faith, Christian Persecution, and cover Orthodox News and events on campus.

The Orthodox Christian Network invites you to support our mission by giving to our 10 Cents A Day campaign, where 100% of your gift goes to ministry and 0% to overhead.
