On Thursday, October 29th, 2015, His Eminence, Archbishop Demetrios, Primate of the Greek Orthodox Church in America and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, installed the Rev. Fr. Christopher Metropulos as the 21st President of Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology (HCHC.)

“It is a distinct honor for me to assume the position of President of this sacred school,” said Fr. Metropulos. “I am in awe of the commitment of the administration, faculty, staff and students to Christ, and embrace the true potential of HCHC, nurturing the next generation of leaders in Brookline, Boston, communities throughout the United States and world.”

Hierarchs, clergy, distinguished guests, alumni and students gathered to witness the inauguration on the beautiful campus.

The following video  produced by the Digital Disciples Scholars Program, a media program on the campus of Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology designed to begin training our ministry leaders to use multi-media resources to spread the Gospel, offers a glimpse of the joy and celebration of the day.

The Orthodox Christian Network (OCN) was founded by Fr. Metropulos 20 years ago and is an official agency of the Assembly of Bishops with the responsibility to create a national, sustainable, and effective media witness for Orthodox Christianity throughout North America.

OCN wishes Fr. Chris Metropulos, our Founding Father, many healthy years as President of Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology.
