Shaped by a life of service to Christ’s Church, Fr. Christopher has dedicated himself to using all the tools God has placed at his disposal to spread the light of Orthodoxy across America. As Founding Father and host of the Orthodox Christian Network (OCN) and the “Come Receive The Light” national Orthodox Christian radio program, he shepherds a dynamic and rapidly expanding ministry bringing joy, hope, and salvation in Jesus Christ to millions of listeners on Internet and land-based radio around the world in more than 130 countries. Fr. Christopher lives in Brookline, MA and is the President of Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology.
November is National Adoption Month. Jennifer Hock has joined Fr. Chris to share her experience as a foster and adoption parent in this episode of Orthodox Family & Faith. Listen as Jennifer reveals the blessings, rewards, and challenges of being a foster parent. She also discusses how writing about her daily life as an Orthodox mom led her to write her blog, Illumination Learning, a hub for finding Orthodox Christian education resources.
The Orthodox Christian Network (OCN) is an official agency of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops and offers videos, podcasts, blogs, and music to enhance Orthodox Christian life. Orthodox Family & Faith is a collaboration between the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese Center for Family Care and the Orthodox Christian Network. Monthly podcasts feature talks on Orthodox spirituality as it relates to our family lives and responsibilities, and hopes to offer practical advice and solutions for the many challenges facing today’s Orthodox families and individuals.
The Orthodox Christian Network invites you to support our mission by giving to our 10 Cents A Day campaign, where 100% of your gift goes to ministry and 0% to overhead.
