International Orthodox Christian Charities, or IOCC, is on the ground in Greece, working with the Greek Orthodox Church to respond to the needs Greece’s most vulnerable families, as well as helping ease some of the strain on Greece’s efforts to help the refugees. Listen as Emmy Louvaris speaks with Chrysanthe Loizos, an IOCC project officer working in Greece who has a firsthand account of the current situation in Greece.
