National Missions & Evangelism Conference
If you feel a responsibility to our Lord’s words, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of theSon, and of the Holy Spirit…” Matthew 18:29, then you will want to look into the National Missions & Evangelism Conference scheduled to take place Monday – Wednesday, October 3-5, in Portland, Oregon.
The Conference is presented by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese Department of Stewardship, Outreach & Evangelism, the Metropolis of San Francisco Commission for Orthodox Missions & Evangelism (C.O.M.E.), and Leadership 100.
Topics include renewing the established parish’s missionary zeal, overcoming obstacles to parish growth, understanding and utilizing social media in the parish, and evangelism resources for parishes both small and large.
When: Monday – Wednesday, October 3-5. 2016
Where: Portland, Oregon. The conference will take place at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church in Beaverton, only 30 minutes from Portland International Airport (PDX).
Cost: $50 through September 1st, then $100 after that date. Payment is accepted by credit card through PayPal, or by check payable to C.O.M.E. and sent to 14485 SW Walker Rd, Beaverton OR 97006.
