Orthodox Culture

“Orthodox Culture” documents the traditions and cultural expressions of Eastern Orthodox people from around the world. What makes these customs ‘Orthodox’ is they are Christ-centered, inspired by our spiritual phronema (mindset). They offer a physical, symbolic, and organic means by which people can express their faith, identity, and love for one another and the community through Christ. Orthodox Culture expresses how individuals ‘live out’ their faith, and also how they live within it. Many of the contributors here at OCN have the passion for expressing these Orthodox traditions and passing down this knowledge to the next generation.
