Protecting Children – Online and In the Womb

Protecting Children – Online and In the Womb

1

With Christmas coming and door buster sales everywhere you look, you might be shopping for a smart phone or tablet to put under the Christmas tree. Before you sign that contract, listen to this insightful interview with Kathryn Bocanegra as she talks with Fr. Chris about the many dangers and pressures of the internet that could be too much for children to navigate. New social stresses and too much information have really made it harder to be a kid. Kathryn is currently working on a PhD in Social Work at the University of Chicago, focusing on issues around youth development and public safety, and is a licensed clinical social worker in the field of Violence Prevention.

And stay tuned as Fr. Chris speaks with Paula Kappos of Zoe for Life, a Pan-Orthodox charitable organization dedicated to helping hundreds of pregnant unwed women save their baby’s life. Zoe for Life is based out of Cleveland, Ohio and is endorsed by the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America.
