The Sea of Galilee


Join us as we prepare for a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, March 5-14, 2014. Here, we learn about the Sea of Galilee, the largest freshwater lake in Israel as well as the setting of many of the miracles of the New Testament. Watch the video to learn more about the place where Jesus walked on water, calmed the storm, and fed the five thousand.

Keith Massey

Keith Massey was born and raised in Wisconsin where he earned a doctorate in Biblical Hebrew with a minor in Arabic at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He served for four years as an Arabic linguist with the National Security Agency after 9/11 before returning to teaching. He was chrismated Orthodox in 2003 and then met his Romanian-American wife.

He is the author of A Place of Brightness, a story of faith and adventure set in Romania. A set of twins, one an Orthodox priest, the other a soldier, travel to their mother's native Romania.
