Are You a Sinner?

On Theologically Thinking, we hear from Fr. Athanasios Haros. He reminds us that when we hear stories of judgment and sin in the Scriptures, most of us don’t want to admit the Lord is speaking to us. It is easier for us to adopt the attitude of the Pharisee (Luke 18.10-14) by thanking God we aren’t like those other people. But the fact is we are sinners who depend upon the mercy of God and the sooner we understand that reality, the sooner we will go away justified by the Lord.
