We are pleased to announce our myOCN Community Online Gathering this coming Thursday, July 23rd, at 7:00 pm EST with special guests Retired Major Julie Miller and Fr. Aristidis Arizi, Chaplain of the Miami Dade Police Department. We will take a look at this issue from a faith perspective. Fr. Christopher Metropulos, our Executive Director, will be offering a “Let’s Talk” 1 hour interactive video session on Zoom with limited availability for two-way discussion.

Julie Miller
Julie Miller is a retired Major of the Miami Dade Police Department. Julie began her career in 1986 as a patrol officer and was able to experience both patrol work and investigations for 30 years. She is an Orthodox Christian and member of the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Andrew in Kendall, FL. She retired in 2016, remains dedicated to her community and is passionate about public service.
Fr. Aristidis Arizi
Rev. Father Aristidis Arizi is a priest of the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Andrew in Kendall, FL since 2009. He is a graduate of Hellenic College and Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School in MA. He is fluent in Greek, Spanish, Albanian & Italian. He is a regular contributor to OCN on Orthodox Christian TV offering programming in the Spanish language. Father Aristidis is the South Florida Youth Director and serves as a Police Chaplain for the Miami-Dade Police Department.
