AXIOS to Fr. Maximos (Constas), Senior Research Scholar at Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology! He was ordained to the holy diaconate on December 6, and holy priesthood December 20, 2015.
A brilliant theologian and professor, he is a favorite of the students at Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology.
Since few are able to sit in on his lectures, here is a video of Fr. Josiah Trenhan interviewing Fr. Maximos on the life and teachings of Saint Maximos and the saint’s contribution to the promotion of Orthodoxy in the 7th century.
Fr. Maximos, an accomplished scholar on his patron saint, has recently published the English translation of St. Maximos’ Ambigua, a series of essays clarifying obscure passages of Saint Gregory the Theologian. This is the first volume is a two-volume set published by Harvard University Press as part of the Dumbarton Oaks Medieval Library.
