OCN Team is comprised of these gifted authors, teachers, thinkers, priests, parents, young adults and human beings at the Orthodox Christian Network.
OCN Sunday is designated each year by the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America to raise awareness of the Orthodox Christian Network Media Ministry Missions. The observance of OCN Sunday is an opportunity for parishes to help OCN take the extra step and go out to more people to share the truth of the gospel. Media allows us to spread the seeds of goodness in Orthodoxy around the world. The Orthodox Christian Network continues to serve the Orthodox community since 1995 and provide unlimited access to Orthodox faith-inspiring programming, services and online community. OCN Sunday this year is January 19th, 2020.
You, your families, parish, and organizations can support OCN in a number of ways:
- Get Your Parish Involved. Speak with your priest about the OCN Encyclical available here to download from the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America, include OCN resources in your parish bulletin, and take a special collection for OCN. Create a Coffee Hour Table and add OCN to your parish website. We are created for an abundant life. There are over 7 billion people in the world today and over 3 billion of them get their information daily from the internet.
- Be a Change Agent. Get Others Involved. Create a Media Ministry Missions Team at your parish, become an OCN Virtual Volunteer or Contributor, or host a fundraiser to share the impact OCN has had on your faith and others.
- Become a Monthly Share the Light Sponsor. With church attendance declining, it’s the call of our generation to reach people where they are and remind them of the grace of God and His unconditional love. Give the gift that will last generations.
