Christ Is Still in Christmas

Christ Is Still in Christmas

Christ is still in Christmas, at least He is in Tennessee!  Amy Basel, speaker and blogger of YPHP: Your Path His Plan, has proof!   Recently a photo she posted on her blog and social media went viral.  It’s a window painting of the Nativity in a McDonald’s window. Her surprise was clear in the caption, “You don’t see this every day! Only Down South!”

A native of Michigan, Amy, was thrilled because “Christian beliefs are not celebrated as much in Michigan as they are in the Bible-Belt. So seeing the name of Jesus painted upon the McDonald’s storefront window made my day and I wanted others to witness it as well.”

I concur!   I am also from the Mid West and currently living in the South.   As I settled into my new surroundings I was overcome by the public conversations of Jesus, Bible Study and Prayer Groups in the grocery lines, hair salons and doctor’s waiting rooms.  They just really love Jesus down here!  It’s refreshing.

Are you seeing signs of Christ in Christmas in your city and neighborhoods?  Share your photos with us on TwitterFacebook, Google+, or Pinterest .
