Orthodox Christians in Humanitarian Work

How do Orthodox Christians participate in Humanitarian Work around the world? On May 7-8, the Department of Inter-Orthodox, Ecumenical, and Interfaith Relations under the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese will answer this question during an academic conference on the Hellenic College/Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology campus in Brookline, MA.  We’ve asked  V. Rev. Dr. Nathanael Symeonides and Dr. Elizabeth H. Prodromou to speak with OCN’s Seraphim Danckaert about this historic event. If you are interested in attending or watching online, go to http://humanitarianism.goarch.org to register, or click the LIVE link.  The international panel is very impressive and includes many of our past guests, such as Dr. Elizabeth H. Prodromou, Metropolitan Makarios Tillyrides of Kenya, and Theodore Pritsis.
