About Lynn Ponton

In addition to working as a professor of psychiatry at University of California San Francisco, Lynn Ponton is a practicing psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, as well as the author of The Romance of Risk: Why Teenagers Do the Things They Do and The Sex Lives of Teenagers: Revealing the Secret World of Adolescent Boys and Girls. In her practice she works primarily with adolescents, focusing on risk behaviors such as sexual experimentation and eating disorders.

Fr. Dr. Vrame is Director of the Department of Religious Education for the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. He is Adjunct Associate Professor at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, Brookline, MA. He is well known as a writer and speaker on Orthodox Christianity, especially its life in the United States. He is active with inter-Christian dialogue, serving as a member of Faith and Order for the National Council of Churches. He holds degrees from DePaul University, the University of Chicago, Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, and Boston College.
