VIDEO: What Do You Mean, ‘Pray to the Saints?’


“Wait . . . you pray to saints?!”

I remember someone asking me something similar after my conversion to Orthodoxy. I tried to explain but they were not interested. I can tell you as a former protestant that “prayer to the saints” really freaks some people out—and it’s such a shame! We are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses (Hebrews 12:1) who are constantly interceding for us.; it is a privilege to get to know them and ask for their prayers.
