What is a Passion Bearer?

The term Passion Bearer describes the type of martyrdom many have suffered under communism. They weren’t given the option to live if they would deny Christ; instead, they were murdered for their positions in the church or in politics. One example is Tsar Nikolas II, the last Emperor of Russia, along with Tsaritsa Alexandra and their five children. Listen as Fr. Chris speaks with Fr. Nicholas, a monk from St. Herman’s Monastery and publishing house in Platina, CA, on their newest book, The Royal Passion-Bearers of Russia: Their Life and Service.

And stay tuned as Fr. Chris speaks with Eleni Alexiou, a licensed social worker in Bethesda, Maryland, who specializes in Women’s Issues, Family Counseling, and Anxiety and Depression. She shares her expertise on finding a balance in the wake of all the bad news in world events and on social media.
