Do you know what is really going on in Greece? We weren’t sure either, so we’ve invited Dr. Timothy Patitsas to speak with Fr. Chris. Timothy is the Assistant Professor of Ethics at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology; the Director of the St. Helen’s Pilgrimage, the study abroad program of Holy Cross; and he is currently in Greece. Listen to this honest and insightful interpretation of the current events in Greece.

Also, we have an interview regarding the Ladies Philoptochos of the Metropolis of San Francisco. They run several family camps called Camp AGAPE every year for children with cancer, and their families. With us to tell us more about Camp AGAPE North West is Kallista Xitco. For more information on this ministry, go to campagapenw.net.

And as an added bonus, listen as Fr. Chris talks to Dr. David Ford the Professor of Church History at St. Tikhon’s Orthodox Theological Seminary. This week we will learn more about two royal saints from the 15th Century. Mother Angelina, remembered on July 30, was married to St. Stefan Branković. You can read more about them and other married saints in his book, Marriage as a Path to Holiness: Lives of Married Saints on our Amazon store through this link.
