Hurricane Helene caused catastrophic flooding, mudslides and damaged hundreds of homes. A storm like this has never been seen in northwest North Carolina.
In the midst of a devastating disaster, something truly beautiful began to bloom. Allexia Brewer is a resident of Blowing Rock, NC, a local business owner and member of Sts. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church. She answered the call to serve, and Greeks for Good was created.
The mission is simple yet powerful: to nourish both the body and spirit of those affected by the crisis, whether directly or indirectly. This is a story of faith, resilience, and a deep commitment to lifting up those in need.
