We are pleased to announce our myOCN Community Online Gathering this coming Thursday, August 6th, at 7:00 pm EST with special guests Paula Marchman, Psychotherapist and Katie Wilson, Public School Teacher. Let’s take a look at this issue of parenting and returning back to school during these times from a faith perspective. Fr. Christopher Metropulos, our Executive Director, will be offering a “Let’s Talk Live” 1 hour interactive video session on Zoom with limited availability for two-way discussion.

Paula Marchman
Paula Marchman, MA, LPC, is the Managing Director of Family Life Ministry of the Metropolis of Atlanta. She practices Christian Psychotherapy in a private Counseling Office in Atlanta, Georgia. Paula is a Gottman Level 2 couples psychotherapist. She received her Baccalaureate degree in Biology/Chemistry from Georgia State University and her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling. She is a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
Katie Wilson
Katie is a public high school teacher. She is starting her 13th year at Douglas County High School in Douglasville, Georgia. Over her years at DCHS she has coached cheer for 9 years and has sponsored many clubs including, Leadership Academy, Mock Trial and Anchor Club. Currently Katie is serving in her third year as Social Studies Department Chair and has been selected by her peers and administrators as the 2020-2021 Teacher or the Year. Katie, along with her husband Steven and two kids, Evelyn (7) and Nicholas (3) have been members of the St. Christopher Hellenic Orthodox parish in Peachtree City, GA for 14yrs. Over the years she has served two terms as Philoptochos president, head of the youth Greek Dancing program and summer camp director. Currently Katie is the Religious Education Director, high school religious education teacher, adult class co-teacher, HOPE/JOY co-chair, and Philoptochos assistant treasurer.
