On October 28th of this year, The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco will celebrate over 100 years of ministry on the west coast with a magnificent black-tie Gala. The Gala honors the Metropolis’ fourteen ministries, the extraordinary leadership of the Hierarchs who have served the Metropolis over the past century, and the presentation of the 2023 Theofanis Economidis Award to His Eminence Metropolitan Gerasimos of San Francisco.
Kristen Bruskas is the Director of Development and Communications for the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco, overseeing oversees all fundraising campaigns and events, the Metropolis website, and all external communications. She has worked in the nonprofit sector for over 30 years, and is also a professionally trained musician.
Deacon Justin Bosl has served at Resurrection Greek Orthodox Church in Castro Valley, California since his ordination in 2021. He serves the Church in a variety of ways including teaching adult education at his parish serving on the Metropolis Council Executive Committee, as well as on the Boards of Saint Nicholas Ranch and Retreat Center, FOCUS North America, and OYM (Orthodox Youth Ministries). He is also a licensed attorney.
